During one week we drove through the coast towards the east and spent our time in Knysna. Place which is amazingly beautiful and calm. No wonders that people use this area as a holiday place retreat or the luckier and wealthier people spend their retirement here on the cliffs over viewing the bay from one side and the ruff ocean on the other.
Here you can take a ferry which takes you around, next one takes you to the other side and let´s you to take a little train to the top of the hill, where you find a viewing deck. You can also hire a little boat or catamaran for your private little party. Among others you can find very nice restaurants, little shops with local products or little markets in the center of the town.
You should not leave without visiting the elephant park. Here is plenty to do! You can only walk with elephants, or feed them, ride them, you can also spend a night here and see even the zebras running around (you can see a four year old one in our video) They can also arrange a wedding for you here. Our day here was spectacular and we enjoyed it a lot. Also thanks to our guide who patiently answered all our questions and told us more about the elephant´s life and park it self.
