What pops into your mind as first, when we say summer? Holiday, sea, bikini .. alright i get it, but i am sure there was somewhere an ice-cream as well no? We´ve eaten quite an amount of them since the summer started. One of the reasons is that we enjoy this sweet-tooth and other is that we wanted to test some for you guys and be able to write about them. Just for the record, we eat something else as well, not just the ice-creams, but some of them are just truly so awesome.

Co se vám vybaví jako první, když se řekno léto? Dovolená, moře, plavky je mi to jasný, ale v tom výčtu se určitě najde i zmrzlina nemám pravdu? My jsme jich spořádali už pěkné množství od začátku teplých dní, jednak nás na ní vždy honí mlsná (občas to ale vyměníme za meloun, toho se přes léto také sní pěkný počet kil) a pak jsme také testovali. Chtěli jsme vyzkoušet a také vám doporučit, kam na tu zmrzku dojít, kde jí mají nejlepší a kde to prostě stojí za to. Níže se tedy dozvíte ne jen ceny, místa, ale i příchutě které nás zaujali a hlavně náš názor na dané místo.

This shop is located just around the corner from Wenceslas Square and therefore it can be quite crowded sometimes. The shop is pretty small, more intended for grabbing an ice-cream and heading back out to the city rather than sitting down. There are only a few places to sit down. You can find both types here, how cream textures than also sorbets. The card is not accepted here though, you have to whip out the cash.

Tento krámek se nachází kousek od Václavského náměstí a proto zde může být občas docela plno. Obchůdek je to malinký, pouze s pár místy k sezení a zaměřen čistě na zmrzlinu. Pokud byste si chtěli sednout i s nějakou limonádou, pak navštivte Angelato na Újezdě. Najdete zde jak smetanové tak sorbety, do kelímku či do kornoutku (i do čokoládového), ale kartou zde nezaplatíte. Jedině korunky.
It's a bit hidden and if we did not go there according to a recommendation, we probably would not find it. On the other hand, there are way fewer people, because of that. We were here during the weekend, and we were sitting there alone in the store. Only a few people came. You can also buy various chilled lemonades, coffee and cakes. Here we tried the flavour of Maracuja with rum&raisins. We even gave a lick to Falco and he nearly eats it even with the cup.

Je tak trochu schovaný a kdybychom nešli na doporučení, tak ho asi nenajdeme. Tím lepší, co se objemu lidí týče. Byli jsme tu o víkendu a seděli jsme v obchodě sami. Jen pár lidí přišlo a odneslo si zmrzku s sebou. Koupit si zde můžete i různé chlazené limonády, kávu i koláče. Zde jsme vyzkoušeli příchuť Maracuja a rozinky v rumu, mňamina co vám budu povídat. I Falco dostal ochutnat a málem nám problíznul díru do kelímku.
Karlín district is rising from its ashes. First, it was an industrial area, then it got flooded and during these days it is blooming with creative cafes and chilled lifestyle. This cafe or bistro is located within a business park, so might get busy during the lunch hour, but other than that it´s a quiet spot of the centre and away from the crowds of tourists. You can get breakfast here as well as some quick lunch like soup, baguette or sandwich. We came because of something else and that was their phenomenal ice-cream! They actually have several flavours, like mango (the absolute best one), strawberry, salty caramel and some others. The fruity ones are sorbets so very refreshing and oooh just thinking about it and will probably go for more :D

Karlín vzkvétá a co každou chvíli se zde otevře nový podnik. Tato kavárna s bistrem dohromady se nachází v oblasti kancelářských budov, je tedy perfektní zastávkou pro zdejší zaměstnance, ale i vy si sem samozřejmě můžete zajít na snídani, pro sendvič a nebo právě na absolutně fenomenální zmrzlinu. Mají několik příchutí. Začínali s mangovým sorbetem (pro ten bychom umřeli) pokračovali s jahodovým (nebe v hubě) a postupně přidávají další jako třeba slaný karamel.
And we'll stay in Karlin little longer. If you can not decide whether to grab a biscuit or an ice cream, because they might both chase your sweet-tooth, then you will for sure enjoy it right here. Here you can choose from several ice cream flavours (even vegan option), which will be then put between two biscuits (lemon, poppy seed, cocoa, peanut). One super beautiful sandwich, which you can top with nuts or caramel, etc. Besides ice creams, they offer coffee, breakfast and outdoor seating with wine and little snacks.

A v Karlíně ještě zůstaneme. Pokud se nemůžete rozhodnout, zda si dát sušenku či zmrzlinu, protože vás zrovna honí mlsná na oboje, pak se vám bude líbit právě tady. Zde si můžete vybrat z několika zmrzlin (i veganských), které vám pak dají mezí dvě sušenky (citronové, makové, kakaové, arašídové). Takový sandwich, který si můžete ještě ozdobit oříšky apod. Mimo zmrzliny nabízejí kávu, snídaně a venkovní posezení s vínem a menším občerstvením.
And the third one in Karlin - told you this part of Prague is rising. This store is a bit hidden, you probably wouldn´t walk around it just like that. However, it is a heaven for fresh fruit and smoothie lovers. Also if you are a fan of RAW - VEGAN - GMO FREE - NON LACTOSE diet, then do not miss their banana ice cream. Heavenly taste! Yum!

A do třetice v Karlíně. Kolem tohoto obchůdku jen tak asi neprojdete, je trochu zastrčený stranou. Nicméně milovníci čerstvého ovoce a smoothie pozor, protože tohle bude pro vás ráj! Pokud jste také vyznavači RAW - VEGAN - GMO FREE - NON LACTOSE stravy, pak si nenechte ujít banánovou točenou zmrzlinu. Opravdová mňamka!
And our last visited place is located at the Vyton tram stop (beneath Vysehrad castle), right by the water, so the perfect spot to just sit down and watch the sunset and Prague castle. We gave up on one visit, because it was really, like super crowded. The truth we came in the afternoon during the weekend. The second time we visited was in the evening during the workweek and we were about the fifth in a row. However, ice creams are really excellent, serving quite large and flavorful. We tried saffron and guarana, but they have even such flavours like cucumber. You can also come around during winter, as they have winter-related flavours such as chilli, ginger, cinnamon and more.

A naše poslední navštívené místo se nachází u tramvajové zastávky Výtoň, hnedle u vody, takže perfektní místo k posezení. Jednu návštěvu jsme vzdali, protože zde bylo opravdu narváno. Nutno říct byl víkend odpoledne. Další návštěvu jsme uskutečnili během týdne večer a to jsme byli asi pátí na řadě. Nicméně zmrzliny jsou opravdu vynikající, porce vcelku velké a příchutě zajímavé. Vyzkoušeli jsme třeba šafrán a guaranu, ale najde se třeba i okurková. Zmrzlinu si tady můžete dát i v zimě a to v zimní edici, kde jsou příchutě s chilli, zázvorem, skořicí a další.
