Our journey started in Prague from where we went by A321 to Frankfurt Germany. This is a short flight of like 50 mins, but you still get a small snack and a cup of soft drink.
Frankfurt airport is very nice, everything is very easy to find and so you cannot get lost.
Our long haul flight was operated by Airbus 340-300 where we underestimated the booking of the seats and we were given 43 H,K still better than the rest as we were by a window and it was just two of us. Unfortunately these seats are quiet far from the lavatories, you are also give your meal among the last ones and you have people who put their seat down to it´s max without asking, and they do not give that you have no space for your legs nor eating once finally the food arrives.
On the way back we were smarter and at least booked the exit seats for an additional cost online.
Speaking about food, long time ago i found out the special meals are usually better than the regular ones and so on the way there we had a light meal and on the way back we tried the vegetarian one which was actually very nice. Only thing i really did not like were beans as a breakfast. LIke seriously? Beans in such height and with that pressure? Come on :D the aircraft is a closed can and no one would be able to run away from the fart!
On board entertainment program is not as great as with Emirates for example, but it kept us busy and so we were not bored. Some may suggest talking to each other, but hey we are together 24/7 sometimes it´s nice to enjoy the silence together.
Last thing we would point out is the role of cabin crews ... as i was one i know, that cabin crew should be helping, guiding and simply be there for passengers and not to be hidden by the toilets and checking her manicure. When one gentleman tried to talk to her about something, she was not even able to understand nor to create a small talk. Shame!
We would take Lufthansa again for our trips (probably not economy anymore) as their times and prices are reasonable and so we did not have any difficulties in that matter..
